The Port of Ensenada is located on the corner Northwest of Mexico, in the State of Baja California, strategic point in the account of the Pacific, only 110 kilometers from the border of Mexico with the United States of North America and at the head of the municipality of Ensenada, bordering the States of California and Arizona and South to Baja California North, to the East by Sonora and to the West with the Pacific Ocean. Its geographical position is located at the coordinates 31 51'30 "North latitude and 116 38'00" West longitude.
The municipality of Ensenada has an extension of 1,114.89 coastal kilometers that represent more than the 80.8% of the total of the coastlines of the State; it also has 74,800 hectares of coastal lagoons suitable for aquaculture.
Moving by land from the burden it has as source or destination port, three major tracks are the Tijuana - Ensenada Highway and Tijuana - Ensenada and Tecate - Ensenada federal highways. The highway is of high specification (4 lanes and 2 bodies) and older managed load flows are transported through it. The three indicated routes are the basic links to communicate to the port with the main road network of the United States of America.
