From 1994 to date, API Ensenada has promoted the exercise of more than 138.5 million  pesos on public and private investment.  

The investment in Works to the benefit of the city is reflected on the road and access to the port facilities, to the tourist walking pathway and to the window to the sea.

In 1998, API Ensenada initiated the construction of the tourist walking pathway “Window to the Sea”, a space for recreation and performance of cultural events, enjoyed by visitors and local people.

•At this place more than 50 public annual events are performed.

•Visited by more than 120,000 persons and tourists during the year.

•It has more than 18,000 square meters of green areas.

•Its construction increased the link and image of the port towards the community.

•It is important for sport fishing and tours along the Bay.  Total investment: 19.3 million  pesos.

• One of the works of great benefit to Ensenada was the construction of the road to the port which was completed in 2000.  The road is 1.3 kilometers long, 4 lanes with an investment of 27 million pesos. This work was the trigger for the relief of port traffic, thus reflecting a new image to the city.

API "Port Administration" has spent financial resources up to 3´485,000.00 (three million four hundred eighty five thousand pesos) during July 2006 thru April 2007, in restoration and road maintenance.

• The access to Ensenada on Lazaro Cardenas - Costero Boulevard, was one of the main Works performed.

. Restoration on Marina Street and its extension to the Cruise ship Terminal.

. Restoration of the Lane from the port to the highway Ensenada -Tijuana, and the asphalt finish.

. Paving of Estancia Street and the extension of South Costero Boulevard during 2007, thus allowing a smoother traffic on most traffic areas in town.

Another projection for this year is the investing on the improvement of green areas and community areas on the "Window to the Sea", by applying the restoration program on the tourist area with an investment of more than 1,000,000.00 (one million pesos), in equipment with rest rooms, signs and irrigation system by using recycled water.
